  • Children under the age of 18 MUST be accompanied by an adult at all times
  • Pool hours:  10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. weather depending
  • Pond and Waterslide Areas are not to be entered before 11am and after 7pm.  The pond is not for swimming
  • Waterslides can only be used if wearing proper swimming attire.  No jean shorts of any kind allowed.
  • ​Swim diapers are required for any water activity for our younger guest.

Showers & Baths

  • Please pick up all belongings after using showers and other campground facilities.
  • Sherwood Forest Campground and Resorts is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged items.
  • Please report any bathroom problems to the store office immediately.

Notice: Firewood can not be brought into the campground this year due to the new Oak Wilt Bug and Emerald Ash Bore

Rules

General Rules

  • Campground Staff determines the rules.  If management determines that someone has violated the rules or is having behavioral issues they will be asked to leave the grounds with no refunds.
  • Campground, Property Owners, and Management are not responsible for any accidents or injuries.  By registering to stay with us you understand that you are out in nature and there are inherent danagers that could occur while staying at the campground or particiapting in a campground activity.  There are  braches/trees/acorns/leaves that fall from trees. There is uneven ground, roots, stumps that may protrude from the ground.  By registering to stay with us you also understand that you will be surrounded by other people and animals that we don't have any control over,  so we advise you to keep yourself and family aware of your surroundings and keep all your personal items protected or secured at all times. If you have any concerns please bring it to the attention of Management.
  • All areas of the campground and campground activities (except the bathrooms) can be monitored for audio and video.  This is to keep the honest people honest and to discourage the dishonest from staying with us.  We are a family owned Campground and would like to provide the best services we can so we need everyone to be aware of their surroundings and if you see something say something PLEASE.
  • There is to be no weapons (Guns, knifes, weapons, or anything looking threatening) to be visible while on the property.  Any threats of violence and the threatening parties and others involved maybe asked to leave without a refund
  • Radios, televisions, and electronic devices must be turned low at 10:00 p.m. so they can not be heard outside your site
  • Any persons partaking in drug use or something illegal, swearing excessively, streaking and /or underage drinking will be removed from campground with no refunds
  • We have No tolerance policy for inappropriate language and behavior as we are trying to maintain a family friendly atmosphere.
  • All alcoholic beverages must remain on your site in a secure area.  No walking, running or driving with alcohol in your hand will be allowed
  • Please obey the 5 MPH speed limit for everyone's safety.
  • There is to be no excessive bike riding in the paved road entrance or down the hill of the driveway due to limited visibility.
  • There is to be no walking thru other camp sites
  • Washing of anything at your site is prohibited.  There is laundry facilities available by the pool. Other than seasonals there is no washing of RV's or vehicles.
  • Office hours:  11:00 am to 8:00 p.m.
  • Check out is 12 noon. Check in is 2 p.m.   There will be a $3 per hour late fee for late check out
  • Golf cart and UTV drivers must have a valid drivers license and insurance on file in the office before they are on the grounds.  

Children

  • Children under 18 years of age must never be left alone on campground property
  • Minor children are not to leave their campsite after 9:00 p.m. or dusk; whichever is sooner unless accompanied by parent/guardian.
  • Parents/guardian are responsible for their children at all times while they are at the campground or participating in a campground activity.  If children are unaccompanied by a responsible adult then Campground Staff may escort them back to their campsite.
  • Minor age children must be supervised while at the playground.  Any damage caused by unaccompanied children will be added to your campground stay.

Site Rules

  • One sleeping unit per site.  Only one trailer or tent or RV per Site
  • NO electric heating devices or fires to be used in sleeping units for heat
  • Two vehicle limit per site.
  • No generators allowed in dry-camping areas
  • No Cutting of trees or shrubs or taking ANY wood from the woods
  • All wood must be purchased at the store for $6.00 per bundle.
  • Campfires are restricted to fire rings Only. A responsible adult to be attendance at all times. No trash, bottles, cans or left over food is to be burned.  If there is edvidence that anything other than wood is being burned management can add an additional $10 cleaning fee to your stay.
  • Campfire rings are not to be moved.
  • Campsite must be cleaned before you leave.
  • No grilling on top of picnic tables.  If you damage a table management can apply replacement costs to your stay.
  • Trash must be bagged properly and disposed of in the dumpster at campground entrance or available for pick-up
  • No bike riding after 9 p.m or dusk which ever is sooner.
  • Flashlights required after dark for your safety when going to and from restroom.
  • Golf Carts and Utility vehicles that meet management's discretion are allowed with proof of insurance and registration with the campground, $25 PER DAY, $50 FOR WEEKEND, $100 FOR WEEK, $250 PER MONTH, $400 for the season​.  Cart registration must be visible or you will be asked to trailer your cart by the front entrance and will not be allowed to use them on the property. Any violation of this and you may be asked to leave the grounds with no refunds.

NO ATVs, Quads, DUNE BUGGY'S, or Sand Rails.  All vehicles are limited to 5 MPH while in the campground and shall be limited to sound.  Speed will be strictly enforced

All Drivers MUST be 21 or older with a valid drivers license to operate carts/vehicles.  Violators will loose their registration and put there cart back on a trailer.  If required to put up they will have to purchase a new registration upon management approval.

Visitors

  • All visitors must sign-in at the office for a pass before entering
  • Visitors will be charged $5.00 per day per person.  $8 per person if not signed in
  • Visitors without a pass will be asked to leave the campgrounds if pass or license is not purchased.

Pets

  • No aggressive animals will be allowed
  • No more than two pets per site
  • Dogs must be leashed at all times
  • Dogs that bark continuously must be muzzled or removed from the grounds.
  • Clean up after your pet(s) at all times - waste must be placed in the trash
  • Quiet Hours: 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
  • No pets are allowed in store, cabins, cottages,bathrooms, by pond, pool, or waterslide areas.

TERMS

  • No personal checks accepted except for advance reservations of at least 10 days.
  • Camping rates are based on 2 adults and 2 children under 18.  Additional campers are subject to visitor rates.


Other conditions:

Up to 2 extra adults can stay in your camper or tent with you at a cost of $5.00 each adult per night. 
Cottages are for one family and have 1 double beds + 2 single bunk beds (camper brings own bedding)
Rental trailers have air, heat, sink, stove, fridge, and bathroom with shower and toilet (camper brings own bedding and cooking utensils)
All sites and rental units include a picnic table and fire ring. (NO pets or smoking permitted in rental units).

Campsites and rental units have a 3 night minimum stay on holidays and holiday weekends.
Rental unit check-in is 2:00pm and checkout is at 11:00am. Rental units subject to $50 security deposit to cover cleaning and or damage.
One night deposit REQUIRED for ALL reservations.
Cancellation policy: 7 day notice for campsites and 30 day notice for rentals -- less $15 admin fee. NO EXCEPTIONS!
No personal checks accepted upon arrival -- only for advance deposits received at least 10 days prior to arrival.

Pets allowed on campsites if kept on a leash and never left alone (no pets or smoking permitted in rental units).
Free use of trails, basketballs, volleyballs, horseshoes and badminton equipment.
